Elliot was working as a research intern at STEaPP as part of the research project Learning from Crises. His research focuses on how cities learn from various crises with the aim of producing a policy relevant assessment of the governance of urban resilience.
Prior to joining STEaPP, Elliot worked as a GIS and acoustic officer within the environment department of Murcia city council, Spain, where he co-managed a research project aimed at reducing citywide noise pollution.
Elliot holds a BSc in Geography and Geology from the University of Manchester (2012). He is currently pursuing an MSc in Environment and Sustainable Development at UCL’s Development Planning Unit, and is writing his thesis on the analysis of the Clean Development Mechanism from the perspective of dependency theory.
