Maryam Karimi

Visiting Scholar

Maryam Karimi is a PhD researcher in Urban Planning, Design and Policy at Politecnico di Milano. She is currently a visiting scholar at University College London (UCL), Department of Science, Technology, Engineering and Public Policy, and she conducts her research within the UCL City Leadership Lab.


Her current doctoral research focuses on the role of Building Information Modeling (BIM) into urban public policy and examines the urban implications of using BIM in urban development projects. Maryam holds MSc in Design from University of Massachusetts and MSc in Urban and Regional Planning from University of Colorado Denver.
