Sam is a research intern for the City Leadership Lab within STEaPP and currently studying for his MPA in Science and Public Policy in the same department. He is working on the UCL-Nature Sustainability Panel on the urban science-policy interface for global sustainability.
Sam studied Biological Sciences at the University of East Anglia. He then worked for a food research NGO in Brussels, Belgium in policy and communications. This was followed by a traineeship at the European Parliament Information Office in London, working in policy and public affairs. He has worked as a freelance online media consultant for a Brussels-based organisation on communicating EU-funded science and health projects. He is now studying for his MPA at STEaPP with a focus on science-policy interface with an interest in urban science, food systems and innovation.
